Susan S. Brady, M.S., N.C.PsyA., C.A.D.C. EDUCATION:

Susan Brady received her B.S. from Skidmore College and her M.S. in counseling from the University of Bridgeport. She obtained her postgraduate training at Westchester Institute for Training in Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy. Susan is a member of the National Association for the Advancement of Psychoanalysis (NAAP), and a certified psychoanalyst. In addition, Susan attended the Rutgers School of Alcohol and Alcohol Studies and is a licensed addiction and drug counselor in the state of Connecticut. For the last five years Susan has been studying and treating Attention-Deficit/Hyperactive Disorder in adults.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Assistant director of the Hotline, Inc. in Greenwich, Connecticut
  • Staff member of the Hudson River Counseling Service for nearly twenty years
  • Organizer and facilitator of support groups for parents with acting-out teenagers at risk
  • Leads therapy groups for women with co-dependency issues
  • Originator of a series of workshops entitled "Reflecting on Your Spiritual Journey" designed to increase people's awareness of the spiritual nature of life experiences
  • Sponsors and leads retreats for women in recovery from addiction
  • Offers an educational program for adults who believe they have or are interested in learning about Attention-Deficit Disorder
